She is survived by: her parents, John Laurence and Mildred Louise Auer (Welch); her husband Keith Baumgardner; her children, Ashley Eckenrode (Scott), Jacob Teegarden (Shelby), Amber Sweeney (Kristina) and Kierstin Baumgardner (Joseph); her grandchildren, Dixie Eckenrode and Lane Sweeney; and her brother Terry Bennett (Missy).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made, in Shannon's memory, to the ALS Association.
