We are sad to announce that on November 1, 2022, at the age of 90, Samuel Edward Stambaugh Jr. of Thurmont, Maryland, born in Frederick, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel E. Stambaugh Sr. and Ida Pauline Long Stambaugh; and his siblings, Larry, Harold, Lee, Sterling Stambaugh, Betty Garber, Joyce Stitely, Carlene Buffington, Violet Smith and Dolly Stambaugh.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Stambaugh; his children, Samuel E. Stambaugh III of Keymar, Brenda E. Sites (Maurice) of Emmitsburg, Gregory E. Stambaugh (Diane) of Fairfield, PA and Douglas E. Stambaugh of Thurmont; his grandchildren, Chris, Carolyn, Sherry, Crystal, Shawn, Travis, Troy, Cari Ann and Jonathan; his brother Rodney Stambaugh (Carolyn); and his sisters-in-law, Ruth and Alvarene Stambaugh. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
