It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Ross Hankey of Thurmont, Maryland, born in Frederick, Maryland, who passed away on April 19, 2024, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Hull Hankey and Joan Virginia Hankey. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Hankey; his sister Laurel Mitchell (Ed Mitchell); his children, Joshua Hankey (Feleisa Hankey), Justin Hankey (Brittany Hankey), Caitlin Hankey and Bailey Kesteven (Thomas Kesteven); his grandchildren, Cole, Isaac, Hudson, Arianna, Aubrey, Adalyn, Alazar, Zada, Maddox, Micah, Axel and Amelia Slagle (Brian Slagle); and his nephew Brent Mitchell (Elizabeth Mitchell).
Memorial contributions in Robert's name may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church.
