It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Waterman Jr. (Thurmont, Maryland), born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on January 21, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Waterman, Sr. and Ella Sherier Waterman; and his wife Suzanne "Sue" Morders Waterman. He is survived by: his daughter Alexandra Ione "Sandy" Waterman of Urbana; his grandchildren, Grace Ann Waterman and Kyle Richard Waterman of Middletown; his sister Sally Waterman Scott; and his cousin Randy Damren. He is also survived by several other cousins, nieces and nephews.
He attended Daybreak Adult Day Services for several years before and after Covid, and up until an unplanned hospital stay in early September 2024, was attending Daybreak every weekday enjoying himself immensely.
