He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton M. Bare and Florence Louise Bare (Hamerick). He is survived by: his siblings, Yvonne Willis and Robert (Cathy Bare); his sister-in-law Doris Bare; his niece Sandy Willis; his nephews, Danny and Brandon Bare (BJ); and his friend Butch Remsburg (Yogi). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
