It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Randy Ruby (Thurmont, Maryland), born in Frederick, Maryland, who passed away on November 17, 2018, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Rebecka Ridenour; his parents, Ruben Ruby and Louise Ruby; and his mother-in-law Patricia Sampson. He is survived by: his spouse Caythee Rhea Jones; his children, Charles Ruby, Jr. of Frederick, Christy Donnelly (Eric) and Josh Ruby; his grandchildren, Samantha Smith (Sean), Ashley Zimmerman (Derrick), Austin Ridenour, Blake Ruby, Raina Ruby, Madison, Emma, Charlotte Donnelly, Jameson, Jonas, Sophia Ruby, Owen, Maddie, Faith and Seth; his siblings, Robin Hertel (Dave) of Rocky Ridge, Jay Ruby (Karen) of Rocky Ridge, Bonnie Glotfelty (Gary) of Monrovia and Barbara Buisch (Allan) of Mount Airy; his sister-in-law Cyndi Rice (Dave); his father-in-law Norman Sampson; and also Tracey Coomey. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins; and many, many friends.
He was known for his generous donations and commitments to our farming youth.
