It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Williard of Thurmont, Maryland, who passed away on March 20, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Williard to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harold R. Williard; her parents, E. Guy Hobbs and Lillian Kelly Hobbs; her siblings, Edward G. Hobbs, Jr. (Louise F. Hobbs), Monsignor James V. Hobbs and Ann M. Kot (Peter A. Kot); and her sister-in-law Betty J. Issacs (Calvin "Jess" Isaacs).
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth W. Conine (Tom) of Hickory, NC, H. Thomas Williard (Eileen) of Thurmont, MD, Anne K. Wright (Jim) of Bonita Springs, FL, Teresa W. Baker (Perry) of Jefferson, MD and Mark F. Williard (JL) of Corinth, Texas; and her grandchildren, Meghan Swavely (Shea), Katlyn Loughry (Steven), Morgan Pesek (Kevin), Sydney Taffe (Jack), Scott Conine (Jolin), Nicholas Williard (Amanda), Chad Baker (Lindy), Ben Baker, Paul Williard (Jessica), Shawn Baker and Mark Williard. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, funeral services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request donations to Mother Seton School in Emmitsburg and the Activities Fund at the Edenton Retirement Community in Frederick.
