She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert DeNeen and Annie May Long (Porterfield); her sister Nancy Rickard (Jim Rickard); her nephew Bill Rickard of Martinsburg, WV.; and her husbands, Carl W. Michael, Dr. Kenneth Orr and Glenn Rickard.
She is survived by: her sons, John Michael (Robin) of Boonsboro, MD and Scott Michael of Thurmont, MD.; her grandsons, Luke Michael of Marion, PA and Jared Michael of Westminster, MD.; her great grandchild Noah Michael of Fredrick, MD.; and her sister Susanne Horner (Jerry) of Inwood, WV.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stauffer Funeral Home-Thurmont (104 E Main St, Thurmont, MD 21788). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Thurmont United Methodist Church (13880 Long Rd, Thurmont, MD 21788).
