We are sad to announce that on January 23, 2020, at the age of 67, Jesse Stansbury (Thurmont, Maryland), born in Rantoul, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Davenport Stansbury and Anna Louise Smith Stansbury; and his siblings, Charles, Harry and Julia.
He is survived by: his pets, Sparta and Argos; his daughter Jessie Matney (Phillip) of Sparks, NV; his grandchildren, Julianna, Nickolas (William "Willie") and Margie L. Bayles; and his siblings, James "Jimmy" Stansbury (Kathie) of Suwanee, GA, Ann Ward (William) of Oakwood, GA and Candis Bufo of Yorktown Heights, NY.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 103 N. Church St., Thurmont, MD 21788.
