He is survived by: his wife Diane Brown; his stepdaughter Amiee Henderson Freeman; his grandchildren, Madeleine, Ethan and Sabina; and his brothers, Stanley Sweeney of Cumberland and Ronnie Sweeney (Rose) of Hagerstown. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
