It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Elliot Wilkins of Thurmont, Maryland, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on February 7, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Wilkins and Mary T. Gregory. He is survived by: his wife Lydia M. Wilkins; his children, Jennifer A. Payne (Carl) and James E. Wilkins, Jr.; and his grandchildren, Robert Mitchell (Allie), Kayla Holtzclaw and Aaron Sutphin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jim's name to Jefferson Missionary Baptist Church.
