He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Bittner (Lawyer); his children, Ellen Williams (Terry), David Bittner (Jennifer) and Thaddeus Bittner (Missy); his grandchildren, Andrew (Amanda), Ryan (Katie), Megan Williams (Cody), Riley, Tate, Beti Bittner, Bridget and Dakota Bittner (Brittany); his great grandchildren, Brayden, Sadie, Jase Williams, Payton, Henry Williams, Taytum and Reid Lederer; and his siblings, Alice Bittner McCleaf, Waynesboro (Joan Bittner Fry) and James G. Bittner.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Stauffer Funeral Homes (104 E Main St, Thurmont, MD 21788). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Stauffer Funeral Home-Thurmont (104 E Main St, Thurmont, MD 21788).
