Francis L. Seiss Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Francis L. Seiss (Thurmont, Maryland), born in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 27, 2019, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis J. Seiss and Ora M. Seiss (Saylor); his wife Betty K. Black Seiss; his son Gary L. Seiss; his siblings, Mary Thompson (Frank), Ruth Lidie (Bill), Robert Seiss (Marie), Raymond Seiss (Virginia), Alverta Stotlemyer (Roger), Zelma Smith (Thurston), Fred Seiss, Quentin Seiss (Ruth), Deloras Orndorff (Joseph) and Catherine Long; and his sister-in-law Mary Jean Seiss.
He is survived by: his sons, Allen E. Seiss (Joyce) and David W. Seiss (Brenda); his daughter-in-law Faye Seiss; his grandchildren, Stacey Gebhart (Kevin) of Thurmont, Troy Seiss (Dana) of Arizona, Leslie Sanders (Russell) of Thurmont, Kristie Ford (Curtis) of Thurmont, Bradley Seiss (Amber) of Thurmont and Katie Eaves (Andrew) of Woodsboro; his great grandchildren, Taylor, Logan Andrew, Luke Ford, Nathan Sanders, Carmela, Giovanni Seiss, Bryce, Karly Eaves, Piper and Brooks Seiss; his brother Sterling Seiss; and his brother-in-law Allen Long of Florida. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
