He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Debbie Hobbs; his parents, Edward G. Hobbs, Jr. and Louise F. Hobbs; his daughter Laura Niper (Brian) of Mt. Airy, MD; his grandsons, Damon, Maxwell and Brandon; his siblings, Susan Damuth (Rick), Sharon Whitmore (Gary), Catherine Topper (Doug) and Michael Hobbs (Stacey); his father-in-law Earl Weant; his son Christopher Edward Hobbs; and his mother-in-law Sylvia Weant. He was also cherished by one niece and several nephews.
