It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doris Dougherty of Thurmont, Maryland, who passed away on February 25, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Paul "Bud" Dougherty, Sr.; her parents, John Robert Nunemaker and Mary Louise Nunemaker (Sweeney); her son Donald "Don" Paul Dougherty, Jr.; her siblings, Betty Shafer, Virginia Knott, James Nunemaker and Charles Nunemaker; and her siblings-in-law, Calvin Shafer, Allen Knott, Buddy Powell, John Dougherty, Bud Kline, Howard Schildt, Mildred Nunemaker, Vivian Kline and Virginia Schildt.
She is survived by: her siblings, Janice Waneta Powell, Sarah Stambaugh (Sam), Barbara Smith (Smitty), Pat Flohr (Dave) and Jack Nunemaker (Nancy); her sisters-in-law, Stella Nunemaker and Bev Nunemaker; and her close friends, Rodman Myers, Mary Fogle, Renee Rousseau and Donna Fisher. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
