With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Blanche Pearl Keeney of Thurmont, Maryland, born in Sabillasville, Maryland, who passed away on August 24, 2022 at the age of 101. She was predeceased by: her spouse Merhle E. Keeney; her parents, George Norman and Myrtle Magdeline Ferguson Holtz; her daughter Kathy Jean Pearcey; and her siblings, Wilbur G. Holtz, Charles F. Holtz, Paul W. Holtz and Mildred M. Utz-Gardner.
She is survived by: her grandsons, Jeremy Pearcey of Frederick, Maryland and David Pearcey of Frederick, Maryland; her great grandchild Ashley Kershner (Cody) of Greencastle, Pennsylvania; her great great grandchild Bristol Kershner; her sister Betty Jean Burgess (Harold) of Hagerstown; her nieces, Barbara Miller and Brenda Deeter; and her nephew Ricky Deeter. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
