It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Belva Lee Myers of Thurmont, Maryland, born in Liberty, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 19, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James Myers; her parents, Howard Sanders and Margaret Sanders (Peterson); her granddaughter Wendy Thompson; and her siblings, Roy Sanders, Ruth Gochenour and Sarah Sanders.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Schildt (Blaine), Carl Bittle, Jr. (Erin), Lucy Helmer and Carrie Bittle; her grandchildren, Charlene Parrill (Jimmy), Andrew Parrill (Brittany), Krista Hess (Steven), Jacob Myers (Kristen), Hillary Murphy (Shaq), Caitlan Chery, Camrin Bittle, Rylee Bittle, Ryan Bittle, Jaylen Spradlin and Cheyanne Spradlin; and her close friend Margaret Grimes. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, many brothers and sisters.
