Anna M. Hughes Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna M. Hughes of Thurmont, Maryland, who passed away on August 28, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Grover Cleveland Hughes Sr.; her parents, Clarence Andrew and Edith Andrew (Alexander); her son Grover Cleveland Hughes Jr.; and her siblings, Edward William Andrew, Martin Luther Andrew, George Andrew of Washington, Donald Leroy Andrew, Samuel David Andrew, Betty Jane Stambaugh and Mary Elizabeth Brown.
She is survived by: her sons, David Alan Hughes and Jeffrey Lee Hughes (Tanya); her grandchildren, Jeffrey Douglas Hughes (Summer), Megan Lee Fawks (Aaron), Tommy Lee Hughes, Jennifer Nicole Hughes, Sherry Jean Hughes and Paul Warren Hughes; and her siblings, James Clarence Andrew, Paul Warren Andrew, Eugene Harold Andrew, Franklin Elwood Andrew, Rosie Annabelle Eyler, Ruth Helen Shane, Sarah Mae McNair, Harriet Loraine Buhrman, Barbara Ann Wantz and Belinda Kay Fogle. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
