He was predeceased by: his parents, Florine Currie, and Brewel E. Currie, Sr.. He is survived by: his daughters, Andrea, Sonya (Troy) and Netisha; his grandchildren, Timothy (Christina), Karlos (Ekaete), Joshua, Kiara (Marcellus), Troy Jr. and Shamira; his great grandchildren, Cameron, Timothy, Jr., Savannah, Mason, Kamari, Chase, Khaleesi, Mylah and Khlo; and his siblings, Flossie (Calvin), Brewel (Darlene), Anita and Malcolm (Doris). He is also survived by loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Lee Funeral Home (6633 Old Alexandria Ferry Rd, Clinton, MD 20735). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church (4818 Suitland Rd, Hillcrest Heights, MD 20746).
