He is survived by: his daughter Umeka Lynette Yates; his siblings, Dennis Jordan (Gloria), Cleo Dorsey, Donna Briscoe (Ronald), William Kevin Dorsey (Yvonne), Delores Dorsey and Joan Dorsey; and his nephew Wayne Dorsey. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
