He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Joseph III (Sarah), Sherri Brown (Paul), Shelley Yarbough (Tony) and Sharlene Hagans (Lydell); his grandchildren, Sherae, William, Paul Jr., Lydell Jr., Gabby and Joey; his brothers, James, Edward and Alonzo; his sister-in-law Esther Lee; and his nephew Melvin Foxx. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
