With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Collen Elgie Allen (Temple Hills, Maryland), who passed away on April 18, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Collen Elgie shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Collen Elgie farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elijah Allen and Irene Benjamin Allen; his siblings, Elijah Joseph Allen and Lenet Pete; his wife Bettye Foster Allen; and his siblings, Bessie Durham, Jerlean Allen and Mark Allen Sr.. He was also cherished by his family, friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Strickland Funeral Services (6500 Allentown Rd, Temple Hills, MD 20748). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
