She was predeceased by: her parents, Alford Denton and Dora Bull Denton; her husband Melvin Craig Simonsen; and her sister Edna Mae Schuwenka. She is survived by: her siblings, Lonnie Denton, David Denton, Paul Denton, Freida Moore and Judy Brandt (Bill). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
