We are sad to announce that on September 25, 2021, at the age of 80, Thomas Dessecker Sr. of Taneytown, Maryland, born in Washington, District of Columbia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Lee and Gladys Eileen Dessecker (Cornell); and his wife Patricia Ann Dessecker (Rose). He is survived by: his children, Thomas Dessecker, Jr. (Lisa) of Fallston, Kevin Dessecker, Sr. (Michele) of Taneytown and Dawn Blake (Daniel) of Reisterstown; his sisters, Carol Meyer (Paul) of Ellicott City and Alma Middleton (Michael) of New England; and his grandchildren, Kevin Dessecker, Jr. (Abi), Carly Dessecker-Mitchell (Jake), Nicholas Blake, Benjamin Dessecker, Thomas Dessecker III, William Blake, Timothy Dessecker, Caralyne Blake and Lillian Dessecker. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Tom's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 108 Byte Dr., Suite 103, Frederick, MD, 21702.
