It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sterling Stambaugh (Taneytown, Maryland), who passed away on November 23, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Stambaugh and Pauline Stambaugh (Long); his wife Nancy Stambaugh; his daughter Mary Ellen Stambaugh; and his siblings, Lee, Harold, Violet, Betty, Carleen, Dolly and Joyce.
He is survived by: his children, Kermit Stambaugh (Sandy) of Bonneauville, PA, Sandy Crawford of Virginia, Judie Peterson of Carlisle, PA, Sandi Miller (Rick) of Gettysburg, PA and Debbie Lenig of Gettysburg, PA.; and his brothers, Bill, Rodney and Richard "Dick" Stambaugh. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
