We are sad to announce that on November 26, 2024, at the age of 82, Sterling Leon Fritz of Taneytown, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Sterling Leon had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Sterling Leon may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sterling Wilson Fritz and Mary Katherine Fritz; his wife Joan Fritz; his son Brian Fritz of Taneytown; his granddaughters, Misty Long (Jeremy) of Fairfield, PA and Brandy Milstred (Eric) of Taneytown; and his great grandchildren, Savanah Linthicum, Jase Long, Payton Long, Cayden Friese and Brycen Milstred.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home (136 E Baltimore St, Taneytown, MD 21787). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
