He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary G. Hanson Hanson and Harding O. Hanson; his wife Gloria Jean Hanson; his brothers, Philip Hanson and Robert "Bob" Hanson; his brother-in-law Bob Starner; his niece Wanda Hamm; his great-niece Tammy Clegg; his daughter-in-law Rose Clegg; and his great grandchild Joshua Scott.
He is survived by: his children, Stanley Hanson, Jr. (Gigi), Robert Hanson (Jennifer), Greg Clegg and Donna Devaney (Jim); his siblings, David "Gub" Hanson (Vonnie), Julian Hanson, Delores Luhn (George), Diana Starner and Mary Weinholt; and his sister-in-law Debby Gilbert. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services (254 E Main St, Westminster, MD 21157). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made at his GoFundMe page or to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
