It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Hiner of Taneytown, Maryland, who passed away on December 31, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley Hiner to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Styers and Bertie Styers (Black); her spouse Marlin Harold "Jake" Hiner, Sr.; and her brothers, William Erb, Jr., Wiley Styers, John Styers and Gene Styers.
She is survived by: her sons, Marlin "Jay" Hiner, Jr. (Barbara) of Taneytown, Mark Hiner (Sharon) of Westminster, Jeff Hiner (Lori) of Taneytown and Gregory Hiner of Taneytown; and her sister Sally Ensor (Jack) of New Windsor. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
