He was predeceased by: his parents, George Roland and Ella Virginia Pittinger (Eyler); and his siblings, Betty, Mary Wivell and Robert Pittinger.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Louise Pittinger (Rentsel); his sons, Thomas Eugene Pittinger of Taneytown and Duane Edward Pittinger (Kimberly Ingham Willinghan) of Littlestown, PA; his siblings, Marie Long of Phoenix, AZ, Barbara Bostian of Taneytown, Dorothy Sweeney of Thurmont, Francis Pittinger (Marty) of Keymar and George Pittinger (Terry) of Finksburg; and his grandchildren, Jennifer, Brittany, Tyler, Tiffany, Patricia, Morgan, Dakota, Kelcey and Taylor.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with final expenses.
