With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ray Copenhaver (Taneytown, Maryland), who passed away on November 26, 2019 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ray Copenhaver to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry William Copenhaver and Laura Edith Copenhaver (Angell); his grandson Collin Matthew Caprarola; and his brothers, William, Merritt and Dwight Copenhaver.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jane; his daughters, Susan Topper (Patrick) of Frankford, DE, Myra Caprarola (Stephen) of Taneytown, Debra Black (Jeffrey) of Taneytown and Cathy Gronaw (Tom) of Westminster; and his siblings, Miriam Summerson of North Platte, NE and Glen Copenhaver of Broadway, VA. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
