He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Edward Koontz, Sr. and Dorothy Koontz (Gillenwater); and his father-in-law Richard H. Green. He is survived by: his wife Yvonne "Vonnie" Koontz (Green); his daughters, Paula Renee Koontz Paquin (Al) of Fayetteville, NC and Pamela Denise Bosley of Westminster; his brother John L. Koontz of Taneytown; his mother-in-law Kathryn L. Green of Middleburg; his siblings-in-law, Barbara and Richard Lease of Union Bridge; and his grandchildren, Henry "Langdon" Paquin, Alexis Paquin, Sierra Bosley and Austin Bosley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
