With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nora Kiser Hood of Taneytown, Maryland, who passed away on May 23, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William, Sr. Abrecht and Ellanora Abrecht (Shoemaker); her husband James Edward Hood; and her brother George Abrecht (William Abrecht, Jr.). She is survived by: her daughter Stephanie; her son-in-law David Staccone of Westminster; and her close friend Ron King. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
