It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Kay Thornton of Taneytown, Maryland, who passed away on March 27, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Nancy Kay farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Nancy Kay is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ina Houdeshell (Young) and Merlin Houdeshell. She is survived by: her brothers, David Houdeshell (Marsha) and Tony Houdeshell (Nancy); her aunt Connie Ramsack; her daughter Coleen Kramer Beal (Gilliland); and her son-in-law John Beal.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Uniontown Bible Church (4272 Watson Ln, Union Bridge, MD 21791).
