With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Miriam Connell (Taneytown, Maryland), born in Union Bridge, Maryland, who passed away on March 6, 2020 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Oliver Bohn and Gertrude Naomi Utermahlen Bohn; her former husband William W. Sherfey (Pete); her husband John T. Connell; and her brother Laverne S. Bohn.
She is survived by: her close friend John Ohler of Taneytown; her children, Cindy L. Stackler (Harry) of Haines City, FL, Linda C. Williams (Marvin) of Keokuk, IA, William D. Sherfey (Jill) of Haines City, FL and Dinah L. Hoffmeister (Jeff) of Finksburg; and her sister Marlene N. Bushman of Waynesboro, PA. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Charlotte to Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157.
