She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore "Bert" and Sarah Elizabeth Koontz (Dutterer); her husband Norman R. Houck; her brothers, Vernon and Irvin Koontz; and her nephew Bernard Koontz.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Richard Koontz, Raymond, Dave Baker, Shirley Shaffer, Thelma Carr, Edna Stephan, Anna Ebaugh and Virginia Stitely.
