He is survived by: his wife Audrey Rote; his children, Ridgely Rote (Jody) of Princess Anne, MD, Shelley Grimm (Chris) of Jonestown, PA and Becky Hawk (Scott) of Littlestown, PA; and his stepchildren, Teresa Storey (Jeff) of Keymar, Michelle Murphey (Mike) of New Windsor and Michael Hively (Kathleen Gorman) of Lucketts, VA. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
