She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard H. and Mary V. Pentz (Thieret); and her husband Donald E. Hess, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Daniel Dettinger (Lisa) of Littlestown, PA, Jennifer Keeton (Daymon) of Stedman, NC, Karen Alfree (Leroy) of York Springs, PA and Corey Hess (Michelle) of Taneytown, MD; her grandchildren, Nathan Dettinger, Tyler Starling (Jordan), Nick West, Elijah West, Ryan Bennett, Cody Bennett, Madyson, Kayla Becker (Brandon) and Kelly Hess; her great grandchild Noah; and her sister Sharon Sabo (John) of Pottstown, PA. She is also survived by many nephews and cousins.
