She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Olander and Clara Tressler; her husband John Allen Smith, Sr.; her son Kevin Gene Smith; her siblings, George Tressler, Shirley Tressler and Peggy Clemson; her son-in-law Walter Joseph Fogle Sr.; and her great grandchild Abel Joseph Schisler.
She is survived by: her children, John Allen Smith, Jr. (Terry) of Taneytown, Dale Robert Smith, Sr. (Denise) of Walkersville, Robbie Lee Smith, Sr. (Lisa) of Taneytown, Peggy Marie Rock (Donald) of Taneytown and Terry Lynn Parks (Alan) of Fairfield, PA; and her siblings, Sherman Tressler of Frederick, Guy Tressler of Hagerstown, Mark Tressler of Walkersville, Goldie Fay Powers of Hagerstown, Eleanor Meyer of Fairfield, PA and Linda Webber of Walkersville. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren and 8 great great-grandchildren.
