He was predeceased by: his parents, William V. Gerald and Agnes Mary Gerald (Chenoweth); and his siblings, Mary Agnes Frazer, William F. Gerald, Dorothy Ann Porter and Edna Elizabeth Meekins.
He is survived by: his wife Angela Louise Gerald (Fuchs); his children, Terry, Brian Douglas Gerald (Terry Joyce-Gerald) of Catonsville, Sheila A. Jones (Jeff) of Talent, OR and William "Bill" J. Gerald (Stacey) of Hanover, PA; his grandchildren, Patrick McKim, Jordan Gerald (Becca), Brittany Smith (Cody), Madayln Gerald, Marley Jones, Conner Gerald, Korbin Jones and Samantha Gerald; his great grandchildren, Chase Gerald, Gavin Smith, Benjamin Gerald and Norah Smith; and his siblings, Louise Germroth of Hampstead, Frances Cash, Nancy Perez, Ellen Sommers of Hampstead and Robert "Bob" Gerald of Biglerville, PA.
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic a private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Taneytown.
