With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet Louise Parrish of Taneytown, Maryland, who passed away on November 27, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Sentz and Emma Sentz (Study); her husband Maurice "Moe" Parrish; her children, William Parrish and Cathy Jenkins; and her brothers, Ralph, David, Bill, Richard Sentz, Jack Russell and Buddy.
She is survived by: her children, Tom Parrish (Patty) of Gettysburg, PA, Mike Parrish (Sherrie) of Taneytown, MD, Jim Parrish (Susie) of Granite Falls, NC, Eddie Parrish of Hanover, PA, Kim Poff of Taneytown, MD and Vicki Parrish (Ted Rill) of Taneytown, MD; and her siblings, Robert Sentz of Littlestown, PA and Nadine Combs of Lenore, NC.. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calendar Piney Creek Church of the Brethren (4699 Teeter Rd, Taneytown, MD 21787).
