He was predeceased by: his parents, Mervin Witte and Stella Witte (Tawney); his son James "Bobber" Robert Witte; and his siblings, Elmo Blizzard, Joann Miller and Betty Little.
He is survived by: his wife Mary (Smith); his children, Michelle Baker (Dwain) of Hanover, PA, Crystal Smith (Brian), David Witte of Spring Grove, PA and Johnny Witte (Mandy) of Manchester, MD; his stepdaughter Melissa Landis of Airville, PA; and his siblings, Marie Sanbower (Joseph) of Mt. Airy, MD and Roger Miller of Hanover, PA.. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
