He was predeceased by: his parents, William Harvey Hill, Sr. and Elva Dorsey Hill (Iglehart); his daughter Diane Anita Hill; and his siblings, Helena Outlaw, Mary Kay Eyre, Regina Orndorff, William Hill and Allen Hill.
He is survived by: his wife Anita; his children, David Hill (Sally) of Gettysburg, PA, Michael Hill (Debbie) of Hagerstown and Susan Barnes (Michael) of Clarksville; his brother Norman Hill (Velma) of Woodbine; and his grandchildren, Dennis Hill (Stephanie) of New Oxford, PA, Rachel Hill of Waynesboro, PA, Jamie Hill (Kristen) of New Windsor, Lawren Palmer (Dane) of Hagerstown, Jacob Paris of Gaithersburg, Lucas Paris of Columbia, Courtney Paris, Morgan Hill, Kara Barnes and Jennifer Barnes of Clarksville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
