He was predeceased by: his father George A. Drechsler; his sons, Clifford and Wayne Drechsler; and his siblings, Louise Groomes, George Drechsler, Jr., Lindsay and Leslie Drechsler.
He is survived by: his wife Edna "Marlene" Smith Drechsler; his children, Karen Loftice of Taneytown, Sharon Dimitri (Robert) of Taneytown, Wanda Miller (Alan) of Taneytown and Kevin Drechsler (Lanette) of Frederick; his grandchildren, Bryan Drechsler of Taneytown, Nicole Gonzalez (Jeff) of Taneytown, Kelly, Alan, Bobby, Stephanie, Kayla and Kevin; his stepgrandchildren, Bianca, Jaime and Conway; and his siblings, Betty Cummings of Westminster, James Drechsler (Beverly) of Millers and Gilbert Drechsler (Shirley) of Westminster. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
