It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert Ecker (Taneytown, Maryland), born in New Windsor, Maryland, who passed away on February 28, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sterling Ecker and Florence Ecker (Strine); his former wife Dolores Ecker; his sons, Herbert P. Ecker, Jr. and Kenneth L. Ecker; and his siblings, Ray, Charles Ecker, Catherine Grabill and Betty Hooper.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley L. Ecker (Warehime); his son-in-law Don; his daughters, Jill White (Douglas) of Taneytown, Lisa Brower (Donald) of Taneytown and Janice Dougherty (Michael) of Spring Grove, PA; his daughter-in-law Beth Ecker; his grandchildren, Tyler, Paul Ecker, Adam Brower (Katie) of Taneytown, Eric Brower (Jenn) of New Windsor, Noah Parker (Ashley) of Spring Grove, PA and Rachel Kane (Dennis) of Westminster; and his great grandchildren, Luke, Carmella, Henry, Noah, Cody and Stephanie.
