Heidi Bavetta Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 17, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Heidi Bavetta of Taneytown, Maryland. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hilde Geissenhoener Goerbert and Richard Goerbert; her spouse Gaspare Francis Bavetta; and her children, Anna Bavetta and Angelo Bavetta.
She is survived by: her daughters, Erika Mikesell (Barry) of Taneytown and Christina Bavetta (James Ball) of Alexandria, VA; her sister Barbara Ellrich; and her grandchildren, Anna, Gary and Rosie Bavetta.
She grew up in Colombia, South America and although she was a 6'1" German woman, she considered herself a "Latina." She was an avid reader, a master seamstress and homemaker for her family. During the pandemic, she sewed over 100 masks for the staff of Lorien Taneytown Assisted Living.
