It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George V. Arnold Jr. of Taneytown, Maryland, who passed away on February 24, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George V. Arnold, Sr. and Lottie May Arnold. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Arnold; and his children, Paul Arnold of Taneytown, Kathy Devilbiss (Tom) of Taneytown, Teresa DiMauro (Rick) of Joppa, Debbie Myers (Tom) of East Berlin, PA, Tony Arnold (Sue) of Westminster, Jeanne Ball (James) of Baldwin, Cindy Welker (Byron) of New Windsor, Brian Arnold (Pam) of Potomac and Patricia Hitchner (Jamie) of Littlestown, PA. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hartzler Funeral Home- New Windsor (310 Church St, New Windsor, MD 21776). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 9:45 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (44 Frederick St, Taneytown, MD 21787). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
