She was predeceased by: her parents, George G. Mentzer and Evelyn Mentzer (Wilson); her former husband William A. Slaybaugh, Sr.; and her siblings, Gilson "Jake" Mentzer and Frances "Sis" Workman.
She is survived by: her husband Oliver J. Parrish; her sons, William "Bill" Slaybaugh, Jr. (Diane) of Winter Haven, FL, Michael Slaybaugh (Cheryl) of Gettysburg, PA and Steven Slaybaugh (Charlene) of Taneytown; her stepson Charles Parrish of Taneytown; and her sisters, Patricia Hively (Carroll) of Taneytown and Bernice Walck of Waynesboro, PA. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
