It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Titus Matthews of Taneytown, Maryland, who passed away on July 23, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell M. Mathews and Lucille V. Titus Mathews; his daughter Mitzi Eileen Laughman; his son-in-law Phillip Mangan; and his brothers, Russell, William (Gene), Frank, Marshall and Charles Mathews (Leonard).
He is survived by: his wife Betty Matthews; his children, Tammy Mangan of Westminster and Tony E. Matthews of Taneytown; his son-in-law David Laughman of Taneytown; his grandchildren, Carrie Weant, Tyler Weant (Melissa), Derek Guthrie (Alee), Tanner, Coby Laughman, Hailey Matthews, Dalton and Grant Matthews; his great grandchildren, Caden, Jaxon Zepf and Camden Weant; and his siblings, Evelyn Kovach, Mary Jane Warrenfeltz, Robert and Donald Mathews. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
