Edward Bitzel Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Bitzel of Taneytown, Maryland, born in Hanover, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 25, 2021 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Levine and Betty Jane Bitzel; and his brother Dennis Bitzel. He is survived by: his wife Debra Rebekkah Bitzel; the fathers of children, Chad Bitzel (Marie) and Tony Bitzel (Shannon); his daughter Michelle Nicol (Dave); his grandchildren, Breanna, Hope, Treyton, Brady, Destiny, Austin and Abby; his great grandchild Baby Layne; his aunts, Vivian Seipp and Janet Hollinger; and his sister-in-law Sherry Bitzel. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered in Ed's name to the Bethel Assembly of God Church at the above address, for use with the Homeless Christian Outreach.
