With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Hess of Taneytown, Maryland, who passed away on June 10, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Baker and Catherine Baker; her husband David Hess Jr.; and her brother Donald Baker. She is survived by: her children, Stacey Few (John) of Taneytown and Brenda Green (Benny) of Hanover; her grandsons, David James Few (Robyne) of Taneytown, Travis John Few (Makailah) of Taneytown, Hunter Levi Few of Taneytown, Chad David Green (Sarah) of New Oxford and Keith Osten Green (Amy) of Bonneauville; her great grandchildren, Aliya Few, River Few, Logan Few, Layla Few, Bowen Few, Blaine Few, Tyler Green (Jaci), Ciera Green, Kylah Rae Green, Brooklyn Green, Addisyn Green, Maddox Green and Lawson Green; her great great grandchild Emme Mae Green; and her siblings, Eddie Baker (Kathy) of Frizzleberg and Wayne Baker (Donna Hartman) of Taneytown. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
